This week’s post is going to be a short one. I’m heading out to New York tomorrow and I've run out of time this week for a more in-depth blog.
At any rate, I’m looking for recommendations on what to do around the city (not just photography related). It’s been about 7 or 8 years since I last visited and I’m wondering if my dear readers can recommend any ‘must-dos’ while in town, particularly if you're a resident. Feature Photograph of the Week - Summer Palace
The Summer Palace is one of the most tranquil spots in China. It was a serene, awe-inspiring - yet ostentatious - experience to visit the artificially made lake and surrounding hills. This photograph of the Jade Peak Pagoda on Jade Spring Hill was made in 2016, while boating on the man-made Kunming Lake inside the Summer Palace grounds. If you ever find yourself in Beijing, don't miss out of visiting this sometimes ignored site - it's worth the drive.
