Hello again. Thank you all for the overwhelming feedback on the website last week! It was a great experience for me and I thank all of you for your support.
In last week’s blog post I alluded to the plan for the website, but this week I wanted to let you in on the plan for this blog. So, here’s how I plan to do things… Every Wednesday, I’ll post a new article in this space exploring a variety of interesting topics. I’d also love to hear your comments, suggestions for future blog posts, questions and ideas. I hope that this can be a space where we’ll get to know each other.
As part of the blog I’ll also introduce you to the feature photo of the week. That photo will simultaneously get posted in the curated gallery, along with the rest of my collection. Sadly, this means that one photo will be coming down to make room.
Don’t worry though. Every photo that gets taken down from the gallery, will be reposted to the archive, where it will live permanently. So, take me up on my invitation to visit this space often – there will be something new to explore here for you each week. So, without further ado…
Feature Photograph of the Week – La Garùa
This week we say hello to the photograph called “La Garùa”. I took this photo from the cliffs of Lima. From the Miraflores neighbourhood, you get a fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean during the Peruvian winter. In June, a thick haze called La Garùa envelops the entire city and gives Lima a certain distinct melancholy.
That’s all for this week. For those of you who want to stay up to date with my latest, follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. Don’t forget to leave a comment! I’d love to know what you think about the website, the blog or anything else on your mind!
